Day 23: Perplexity
So after much hoopla, it turns out my PSU died during the storms while we were in Cali. You would think that a computer plugged into a surge protector, plugged into a UPS unit would be ok... not in the least bit so. Apparently those $100 plus items are merely just large paperweights... Meanwhile the ugly and misshapen win2k3 server thats plugged directly into the wall with a PSU thats close to 5 years old merely just shut off and has been running like a champ since. Oh the irony of it all.

Being the homeowner that you are, look into a whole house surge protector. Seeing that you have a shitlode of other fancy gadgetry plugged in downstairs.
